Patricia Lautner, Principal

Patti is an EcoDevelopments principal, an accomplished
Project Manager and co-founder of Jamaica Plain Cohousing. With over
15 years of project management experience and 7 years of cohousing
development experience, she brings a passion for excellence to the
Ecodevelopments team. In addition to her project management expertise,
Patti is especially qualified at cohousing meeting facilitation, community
building and membership marketing.

Stew Mayer, Principal
Stew is an an EcoDevelopments principal and co-founder
of Nexum Development Corp. (www.nexums.com). Stew possesses
a unique breadth of in-depth, hands-on experience in real estate
development, construction, and project management.
As a registered Architect, general contractor,
and licensed real estate professional, his career has spanned
the real estate development process from the early phases of
site acquisition, conceptual design, and financial feasibility,
through governmental approval processes, marketing studies,
technical development and the turnkey construction process.
Stew's design/build project portfolio includes development and
construction of commercial projects, cluster residential and
retirement communities, rehabilitation, renovation, and infill
development, from single-family homes to projects exceeding
80 acres in size.
Stew's focus on green building and sustainable
technology began in the late 1970's and for the last 15 years
he had focused exclusively on "smart-growth" projects
both domestically and in "eco-resort" ventures in the
Caribbean.
To date, Stew has assisted in the financing and/or
construction project management of cohousing communities valued at over
$36 million dollars

Jeanne Goodman, Assistant

Jeanne is an experienced community builder,
facilitator and cohousing development administrator. Her computer
skills and technical expertise have been an asset to the team.
Jeanne lives in JP Cohousing with her husband
David, and their two children.

Chris ScottHanson, Consultant

A veteran real estate development consultant and
principal consultant to Cohousing Resources, Langley WA. Chris is
considered one of the United States' top experts in cohousing project
development, an approach to development characterized by its reduced
environmental footprint. He has worked on over 60 client projects
from land acquisition through construction, including project feasibility,
financing, budgeting, cash flow planning, project scheduling, permits,
professional relationships, marketing and membership issues.
Together with his partner, Kelly, Chris is the
author of The Cohousing Handbook, Building A Place for Community,
2005 New Society Publishers, second edition. He is the recipient
of the 1997 Gold Award for "Best Environmental Achievement" from The
Canadian Home Builders Association.
